On July 9, 2024, an awareness class was conducted in Class 9D at K.P.M HSS Cheriyavelinalloor, focusing on the importance of counseling centers. With the permission of Headmaster Bibin Bhasker, the session aimed to educate students on the critical role of counseling centers in supporting their mental and emotional well-being.

The class began with an introduction to what counseling centers are and the variety of services they offer, such as academic counseling, career guidance, and personal support. Emphasis was placed on the significance of mental health and how it affects students' overall well-being and academic performance.

During the session, the benefits of counseling were highlighted, including stress management techniques, building self-esteem, and improving interpersonal relationships. Students were provided with detailed information on how to access the school's counseling services and assured of the confidentiality and privacy of these sessions.

An interactive segment allowed students to share their thoughts and experiences, addressing common misconceptions and reducing the stigma associated with seeking counseling. The session concluded with a Q&A, where students' queries were addressed, encouraging them to seek help whenever needed.

The class received positive feedback, with students expressing a better understanding of the importance of counseling centers and feeling more comfortable with the idea of utilizing these resources for their personal and academic growth.
