Week 7 (Nov 29 - Dec 5 )

This week's teaching practice in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program involved guiding students through complex topics related to kidney health, biological classification, and virology. Here, I reflect on the two distinct lesson plans executed during the week: one focusing on kidney disease, hemodialysis, and kidney transplantation in the 9th standard, and the other covering the 5 Kingdom Classification using the Concept Attainment Model and the concept of viruses in the 8th standard. This week's teaching practice underscored the importance of adapting instructional strategies to effectively engage students and foster meaningful learning experiences across diverse topics and grade levels. By integrating interactive methodologies, promoting empathy, and emphasizing real-world connections, I aim to cultivate a learning environment that nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and holistic understanding in students. Reflecting on these experiences, I am committed to continual growth and innovation in my teaching practice to better support student learning and development.
