This week's teaching practice in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program was both challenging and rewarding as I covered a diverse range of topics across various grade levels. Here, I reflect on the four lesson plans executed throughout the week, encompassing topics such as diabetes in physical education, urine formation and kidney function in the 9th standard, homeostasis in the context of an inquiry training model, and binomial nomenclature in the 8th standard. This week's teaching practice encompassed a wide spectrum of topics and instructional approaches, providing valuable insights and experiences for professional growth. This week's teaching practice focused on the topic of excretion to maintain homeostasis in the context of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program. As an aspiring educator, it was both challenging and rewarding to delve into such a critical aspect of biology education. Here, I reflect on the lesson taught, the observed class session on November 16th, and the feedback received from the observing teacher. The lesson aimed to elucidate the process of excretion in organisms and its significance in maintaining internal balance or homeostasis. It covered key concepts such as the functions of excretory organs, the importance of waste elimination, and the role of the urinary system in humans. Additionally, the lesson explored the mechanisms by which various organisms excrete waste, highlighting similarities and differences across species. I am also take my conscientization programme about tthe topic waste management.
