International Yoga Day
Yoga is an ancient and complex practice rooted in Indian Philosophy. Yoga is a meditative process of self-discovery and liberation. Maintaining a regular yoga practice can provide physical and mental health benefits. Practice of yoga helps to feel better about us. As part of curriculum, l am selected main 5 yoga poses to practice regularly. They are Hastapadasana, Trikonasana, Bhujangasana, Marjarasana and Badhakonasana.
International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21 every year with a motive of spreading awareness about the Vedic practice, yoga and meditation. In the year 2023, it will be the 9th year of International Yoga Day and the day will be celebrated across the world. This year, PM Narendra Modi will lead a yoga session from UN headquarters today, on June 21, 2023.
