MICRO TEACHING (Skill - illustrates with examples.)
Reflecting on my microteaching session on illustrating the topic of plant diseases, I found the experience to be both insightful and challenging. Teaching a complex subject like plant diseases requires a careful balance of content knowledge, effective communication, and engaging presentation techniques. One aspect that worked well during the microteaching session was using visual aids to illustrate different types of plant diseases. By incorporating images, diagrams, and even physical examples of diseased plants, I was able to enhance understanding and facilitate visual learning among the students. For instance, showing photographs of plants affected by common diseases such as powdery mildew, leaf spot, or root rot helped students recognize the symptoms and understand the underlying causes.
